Thanks to you, the CzechStartups.org portal, which brings everything important from the startup world to readers in one place, has been here for 7 years. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive overview of the Czech startup ecosystem, not only to aspiring entrepreneurs but also to all startup enthusiasts. We are really glad that you can be here with us.
We provide our readers with interesting interviews with entrepreneurs and investors, inspiring articles, current challenges and opportunities, planned startup events, and a comprehensive database of investors and useful resources.
“The portal was created to provide a one-stop shop for information about the startup environment and to give entrepreneurs an overview of the various players in this ecosystem – investors, incubators, innovation centers, coworking spaces, as well as interesting opportunities, events, competitions, and support. Later, we added success stories and our content in the form of interviews, mainly to motivate others and show interesting stories of companies. Thanks to this information, everyone can get a picture of the Czech startup ecosystem and how it is growing. I wish the portal at least 7 more successful years,” says Markéta Přenosilová, the founder of the portal and chairwoman of the Presidency Board of the Europe Startup Nations Alliance.
CzechStartups.org has almost 10 thousand followers on its communication channels, the database contains more than 40 local and foreign investors and 200 startup infrastructures and works with dozens of partner events across the Czech Republic and abroad. One of the long-standing international partners is, for example, the Impact CEE conference.
“We have many partners among European startup communities, and cooperation with CzechStartups.org has always been a pleasure. CzechStartups.org has always been very keen to get involved in the activities we prepare for startups. Thanks to their knowledge of the Czech startup market – it was easier for us to select the companies we wanted to present themselves on stage, in pitch competitions, or the expo area during our events. We look forward to continuing our work together hoping that – in the future – it will help achieve even more great things,” concludes Anna Mazurek, startup manager at Impact CEE.
We are open to our readers who want to help us shape our content. If you have an interesting tip for an event in the Czech Republic or abroad, or think it’s time to write about you, get in touch with us at info@czechstartups.org.
We owe our foundation to the CzechInvest agency, the investment group Rockaway Capital, the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs of the Czech Republic (AMSP ČR), the Czech ICT Alliance, and IBM.
