According to the VC Funding In CEE Report – 3Q 2021 recently published by Vestbee, the biggest matchmaking platform for startups, VC funds, accelerators and corporates in Central & Eastern Europe, the number of fully disclosed investments in the region in 3rd quarter reached over 190 and exceeded €1B in total funding.
As reported by Vestbee, the most appreciated industries in 3Q 2021 include Ecommerce, Food Delivery, AI, Fintech, Analytics, Cyber Security, Biotechnology, while Poland and Estonia were the most active countries, securing 111 and 26 rounds respectively. Among startups that received the largest fundings worth mentioning are Bolt (Series E – €600M), eobuwie (Venture round – €110M), Printify (Series A – €38M), and Novakid (Series B – €29.5M). Additionally, the report highlights the most active investors in CEE, that is OTB Ventures, TMT Investments, Change Ventures, Movens Capital, Lemonade Stand, Startup Wise Guys, Fil Rouge Capital, Day One Capital, Lighthouse Ventures.
