During the Conference “Building Europe’s digital sovereignty” hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, a day was dedicated to the Scale Up Europe initiative, launched in 2021 with the European Commission to accelerate the emergence of European technological champions. On this occasion, a declaration of intent, initiated by Business France, was signed with its European counterparts or institutions in charge of attracting and welcoming talent, with the aim of making Europe a land of attraction for talents.
The European signatories undertake to share information and good practices on the mechanisms for attracting international talent in tech ecosystem. They also undertake to develop proposals for the creation of a “European Tech Talent Desk” information service with the establishment of a dedicated team by the end of 2022, in addition to national systems. This work will be done in close collaboration with the European Startup Nations Alliance (ESNA).
