Your startup is at the seed or early-stage? Are you creating solutions that can change the world for the better? Submit your startup for the next edition of the Infoshare Startup Contest. The best ones will receive prizes from total pool 30,000 euros and will spread their wings under the guidance of InCredibles’ Sebastian Kulczyk. Registration is open until March 15.
The recruitment for the Infoshare Startup Contest is ongoing. The competition that has seen the participation of over 4,000 startups so far. This year’s edition, following the previous
year’s model, is aimed at startups working towards one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The jury will primarily assess candidates based on their innovation but
also through the lens of their positive impact on society and the environment. Applications are accepted until March 15.
Semi-finalist on the stage in Gdańsk
The semi-finalists will be announced by April 10. Each of them will receive two Startup Passes (each valued at 859.77 PLN), allowing free participation in the conference, access to all stages and matchmaking with investors and clients. The best startups will present themselves to international VC funds and investors associated with Simpact Ventures and Smart Impact Capital, as well as representatives of global corporations during the largest technology conference in Gdańsk. Around 200 of them come to Infoshare every year. This is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to stand out in the crowd and gain the support necessary for further development.
The total prize pool in the competition is 30,000 euros in cash, funded by the President of the City of Gdańsk. The winners will be announced during the Infoshare conference in May. A special prize for a selected startup from InCredibles From the top 20 startups selected in the Startup Contest semi-finals, one will be chosen to participate in the seventh edition of InCredibles — a mentoring program for young entrepreneurs with a vision created by Sebastian Kulczyk.
Over 50 companies, including SunRoof Technology, Infermedica, Therapify, and FibriTech (participants in the 2021 Startup Contest), already belong to the prestigious InCredibles group. Last year, AI4SKIN joined them – a participant in the 2023 Startup Contest. The InCredibles program offers several months of personalized, free support from Polish and international mentors, recognized founders, investors, advisors, and specialists in areas such as management, sales and marketing, strategy, communication, financing, and HR.
Traditionally, we invite responsible young entrepreneurs who care about how, with whom, and why they do business – emphasizes Sebastian Kulczyk, the creator of InCredibles. Startup Contest is more than just a chance for funding.
This year, the conference will include investors associated with Pitchdrive, ZakaVC, and YouNickMint. They are ready to allocate additional millions for investments in startups if they convince them at the Infoshare conference. Meetings with investors and partners will take place through a dedicated matchmaking application. In 2022, there were 1505 such meetings, and over 80% of startups present at the event declare that they met a potential investor and started discussions at Infoshare. Startups will also have the opportunity to present their projects during the event in the Startup Expo zone and in a special database available to investors participating in the conference.
The Startup Contest is organized as part of Infoshare, the largest business and technology conference in Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s conference features eithematic stages, hundreds of top speakers from around the world, nearly 250 presentations, an Expo zone, and six accompanying events, providing opportunities for business networking.
