5 Czech companies in the ranking

It is a very fortunate obligation to announce that the Czech star-tup Kiwi.com has been ranked as the fastest growing technology company in the Central Europe. Deloitte sets up the ranking of the fastest growing companies every year in its Technology Fast 50 list. Kiwi.com was founded in 2012 in Brno. It is developing an internet fly ticket search engine that uses a unique system to combine non-cooperating airline tickets.

Good news is the position of other Czech companies in the ranking. Prusa Research, a developer of 3D printers, ranked third with a growth of 6,910%. In the top twenty, we will find another two Czech companies, namely the mobile application manufacturer STRV, with the growth of 963% on the 14th place and ZOOT, an online fashion retailer on the 15th position with growth of 820%. We can also add that the last Czech start-up, Inventi Solutions was ranked 37th at 408%.

“Fast 50 is the competition that is on the market for a long time, it was held for the eighteenth time in 2017. Companies that have succeeded worldwide and have done something have gone through it. If I can succeed in it, I will know my competition and my business a lot better. Thanks to the fact that the competition is accompanied by a lot of publicity, I am expanding my contacts and I will come to the knowledge of the wider public, “said the competition´s Director Jiří Sauer.

This year’s ranking has reached a record average growth

The ranking is based on the growth of companies over the last four years. This year’s ranking is due to growth between 2013 and 2016. According to the official information from Deloitte, this year´s average growth was the highest ever recorded. The average reached 1 127%, i.e., more than tenfold growth in four years. The Czech winner Kiwi.com achieved an incredible growth of 7,165%, or more than 70fold!

For this year, companies from 11 Central European countries were rated. The ranking was dominated by companies offering digital and IT solutions. They occupied 39 out of 50 positions.
