Applications are open for TechChill’s Fiffy Founders Battle pitch competition, where the winning startup will have the chance to win a 200,000 EUR syndicate investment led by BADideas.fund and DEPO Ventures, and 10,000 EUR, no strings attached. Winners will be announced at TechChill, which will be held in Riga, Latvia, on April 17-19, 2024.
Startups from across Europe and beyond are invited to apply until March 4th. Fifty semi-finalists will be selected and invited to pitch onstage at TechChill in front of 2000+ attendees, 200+ investors, and 50+ media representatives.
BADideas.fund and DEPO Ventures will be providing winners with a chance to receive 200,000 EUR in syndicate investment, as well as practical support to the winning startup:

The Fifty Founders Battle is the flagship event’s annual pitch battle, open to early-stage startups that have not received more than 250,000 EUR in equity funding, and usually are less than 3 years old. The battle is industry-agnostic – all startups from peaceful countries are welcome to participate and can apply online at www.techchill.co/fifty-founders-battle.
The Fifty Founders Battle is an opportunity for early-stage startups to gain significant exposure, pitching experience, and an opportunity for game-changing support through the various prizes. This year’s event will place a focus on three main themes:
- Frontier Technologies, including AI, cybersecurity, defence tech, energy, climate, and space tech)
- Startup Foundations, such as founder stories and hard skills and a survival guide for startups
- New Rules for Navigating the New Normal, empowering diversity, new metrics for success, the impact of economics on different regions, and the Baltic landscape.
