By nurturing and supporting startups in this space, the event aims to contribute to the creation of cleaner, more efficient, and more accessible cities. “Besides its educational purpose, Accelerate2Move Bootcamp in Zagreb is almost a unique opportunity to facilitate direct contact and cooperation between our 12 EIT Urban mobility supported startups and local authorities that are in need of solutions,” says Petra Grgasović, Coordinator of the sustainable mobility – related activities from North-West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency. “Piloting and testing is among the top three priorities to early-stage companies in Europe and Accelerate2Move team is investing significant efforts to make such
opportunities more accessible. The key word of the bootcamp is ‘matchmaking’, focusing on every level that can benefit both the businesses and the public realm.”
Sven Harjacek, coordinator from BIRD Incubator, adds: “During the Accelerate2Move Bootcamp, startups will have the chance to dive deep into the world of fundraising. What truly
sets this bootcamp apart is the vibrant networking environment it offers. Startups will showcase their projects to a diverse audience, including influential figures in the startup ecosystem and potential investors. This hands-on experience not only builds knowledge but also lets startups put it to use immediately.”
The Accelerate2Move Bootcamp promises to be a significant event in the journey towards smarter, greener, and more connected cities. Its mission aligns with global efforts to address the challenges of urbanization and climate change by fostering innovation and collaboration among forward-thinking entrepreneurs and experts.
