FutureNow annually awards the most innovative tech companies from the Central European region. The jury picked top 24 semifinalists from 120+ applicants coming from 12 different countries. These top innovative companies will meet at at X-Bionic Sphere Resort from 19th until 21st October for a special three-day Startup Bootcamp. At the end of the bootcamp, 12 startups will qualify for the finals that will be held on October 24 in Refinery Gallery. The main prize for the winner is 20,000 eur.

Only one startup can receive the 20.000 EUR cash prize, but FutureNow is about more than just winning the competition. FutureNow is about a sense of community and connecting startups from the region with potential investors and corporate partners. Reflecting that is the make up of the bootcamp jury and mentors, with representation from all leading venture capital funds in the region including Speedinvest, Credo Ventures, Neulogy Ventures, Day One Capital and Data Ventures. At the same time, the aim is to create a bridge between the startup and corporate world, connecting them together. Representatives of FutureNow´s corporate sponsors that belong to the most innovative companies in the region are also joining us at the bootcamp, including the likes SwissRe, Tatra Banka, ZSE, Slovak-American Foundation, MasterCard, HB Reavis, O2, Sféra and the Slovak Business Agency.
